DOOL 4.1

The previous, during our umpteenth silly chat, “haven’t you been not blogging for days now?”, scolded Debaditya.

Somewhere it did prick, because he had said a bitter truth. I have been pretty lazy in updating my blog with newer posts. This particular post i’d been putting off for almost a month now.

High time it was for me to pen down.

A group outing is not a group outing unless you’ve made a watsapp group for it and added all the folks you’d like to hang out with. Then they add more people or remove themselves as per their whim.

In our case, it was on Facebook.

Group outing isn’t easy as it sounds and more the people, more are the troubles.

Ours 4th wasn’t easy either. Our first outing was on 2015, Nov 30 and 4th was on Oct 7, 2016.

But this time it was bigger and better.

Like all the previous ones, this time too the plans changed and changed yet again to accommodate every single individual.

Our group comprised singles, couples and half-couples (what else to call folks whose partners didn’t hang out with us?).

Having fun was the agenda and Pujo was the occasion. And we did what we had met for. Pandal hopping, exchanging gossips, bonding with old friends, making new friends and intermittent photo session made our day a memorable one.

The weather was whimsical. One moment, it was hot-n-sweaty and the next, it was dark and rainy. Yet it couldn’t dampen our spirits. We walked on, we chatting and clicking without caring a hoot for the weather or the Pujo crowd.

When we have our next DOOL meet isn’t clear. But we know we shall have it nonetheless.

Now enjoy some of the clicks of the day! (slideshow)

DOOL stands for Days of Our Lives (a show where Joey played Dr. Ramoray … think F.R.I.E.N.D.S)
These days are a break from our usual routine and hence need to be documented.
P.S. you’d find a few F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan in this very group!
